Newborn Care Specialist
As a Newborn Specialist and a Postpartum doula, I’m there to mother and educate you. Educating you with the best possible training for you and your newborn. Not all expectant moms have their own mothers to be there for them. Sometimes her mom is still working, lives in another state, is elderly, or you do not get along or feel supported from your own mom. It is different when someone is there for you and you only, compared to relying on your family members to help out. Generally their idea of helping you and your idea of your mom or mother in law helping is two different things. I come highly recommended from many families whom I’ve helped in the past. I serve and based out of the Dallas Metroplex areas including traveling to the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, California.

Traveling Newborn Care
I am here to provide for your needs no matter where you may be. Some families would like for me to fly out to be with them in another state. Some families hire surrogates to have their baby and therefore they are flying in from another country or state to get their babies. While staying locally, they want newborn education and either 24-hour service or nightly care. Sometimes they request to have the newborn specialist fly out to their home town and provide 24-hour care for several weeks until the nanny can start or mom wants to take over the care herself. Please contact me soon as you know what your needs are to book this service.
Newborn Night Care
I can help provide you a full nights sleep. I offer between 9-12 hour shifts. I will provide for all the baby’s needs each night: feeding, changing, burping, soothing. If you wish to breastfeed through the night, I can bring the baby to you. A nightly log will be filled out for you to review the schedule and how the activities went each night. Having a full night’s rest makes for a happy and restful mommy to cope with the following day.
“I was fortunate to engage Valerie when I had my twin girls. She helped me plan for their arrival and came to my house a number of times to check on me and to give me various baby tips. She is very knowledgeable about babies and has a genuine affection for them. We always looked forward to her arrival so we could hop into bed!”Fenella
